How do I structure a paragraph in my essay?

When structuring an essay in an exam, it can sometimes be daunting to know where to start. But remembering the simple trick PEEL can be very helpful and make your paragraphs more clear and help the examiner know exactly the point you're making. It stands for: P = Point, E = Evidence, E = Explanation, L = Link (to the question). If you follow this simple trick, all your paragraphs will have clear points which answer the question and you'll never forget to back up your points with well explained evidence. It's always important to plan essays in exams, so write out PEEL in the margin of your rough paper and bullet point your paragraph. It'll help make your answer more structured and get you more marks!
