Solve 3(x-2) = 21

To begin, understanding the basica concept of algebra and multiplication using brackets needs to be covered as I have met quite a few children who have been used to these equations but are still unsure about applying them. These kinds of questions I would use as practice of the techniques of algebra and how to keep both sides equal in an equation for instance here noticing that we will after expanding the brackets need to move a constant to the other side and with another example if the amount of x on one side is negative multiplying by -1.
