What are some tips for succeeding in the listening part of the exam?

As with any language, practising is the most important part. However, quickly scanning the questions and then write down or make a note of the key words that you have to pay attention to. For example, if one of the questions asked was about the length of time they are planning to stay, then pay attention to time related words such as days of the week, the word for a week and a month in the context of staying at a place. The key is vocabulary and knowledge of how words are arranged to form a specific meaning.
