What's the best way to structure an essay in an exam?

I always find that a good introduction is very important. This is when you should give a brief overview of what you're going to discuss and include any debates between historians. Keeping it short and concise is important given the short time frame of an exam. Then each succeeding paragraph should focus on addressing one aspect of the question. Keep it on point and succinct! Finally the conclusion should sum up what you have been talking about but not repeating what you said in the introduction.
