Why did Hitler rise to power in 1933?

It would be easy to attribute Hitler's rise to power in 1933 to just one factor. However there are a lot of different elements which played an important role in Hitler's acquisition of power. Firstly, the collapse of Wall Street in America in 1929, meant that Germany could not get the funding it required from the US, so lots of people lost their jobs. So when Hitler was trying to become the leader, he played on this by committing to create lots of jobs. At a more personal level, Hitler was what you can call 'charismatic'; he was a very good public speaker, who used a lot of passion and was able to convince people that he was an excellent candidate for the job as Fuhrer of Germany. In addition, Goebbels (Hitler's right hand man) was the head of propaganda and turned the institution into a machine in churning out thousands of documents, posters and films to promote Hitler as the best candidate for the job as leader.
