How do you correctly form the perfect tense?

The perfect tense in Spanish is formed by conjugating the verb haber into the present tense (he, has, ha, hemos, habéis, han) and adding the past participle of a verb (e.g. jugado, pasado, escuchado, abierto, ido etc.) It is used to describe something that has just happened and is also used in questions. Has jugado un partido del rugby? Have you played a game of rugby?
