What do I include in my essay?

Research an artist for a certain characteristic about them that inspires your work, such as a theme or technique. Explain how this links to your own work and how this artist will help you develop your own ideas and experimentation. Narrate how your project has developed throughout and why, as well as how it has adapted in this way, leading to the final outcome. What worked well in your experimentation and what was less successful, and why was this? How was this used to improve later pieces and ideas? It is describing how your creative journey began with concept, how it was influenced and changed by the work of others and your own ideas and how this resulted in your final outcome.
