Hiya! The question type depends which exam board. Which are you on? find relevant past papers ... For the long answer it is best if you go for about 5 paragraphs. You will want an introduction, 3 points, and a conclusion.(If you are a bit short on time then the conclusion is much more important than the introduction).
You'll want two points to support your argument, and one that goes against it. For example if you are writing about abortion, you might want: (1) Sanctity of human life (2) Bible says it is wrong - God knows people before they are born (3) Right to self determination (you could then explain that points one and two are more important than this to make your argument really strong). For top marks you can include a quote and example in each point. :)
