I'm applying to study a subject I have never studied before; how can I show universities I am a good fit for this degree?

Universities are interested in who you are as a person, not just as a results sheet. University is a time to finally focus on studying something you are truly interested in, so you need to show through your personal statement that you really are interested in the degree. This can be through: 1. Extra curricular activities 2. Linking your current subjects you study to your intended degree subject 3. Drawing on personal experiences and motivations. 4. Showing that you already have some level of broad knowledge of your intended degree. 5. State exactly what attributes you have to offer to your future degree. The best piece of advice I received whilst writing my personal statement was that it should be your voice speaking to the admissions officer; not your mum's, teacher's or friend's. I am here to guide you, not write it for you, as the best personal statements are, well, personal.
