How do I ensure I receive the highest possible amount of marks in data-based questions?

In order to ensure that you can gain the maximum amount of marks for each question in a data-based style question in Paper 1, it is important to include the following key points. Firstly, ensure you describe the general, most obvious trend shown from the data. For example, "this graph shows the positive relationship between income and life expectancy". Secondly, it is then advisable to point out any anomalies within the data, or points of significance. For example, "the literacy rate is particulalry low in Sub-Saharan Africa". Finally, it is essential to ensure you provide a piece of quantitative data from the graph in order to gain full marks for a data analysis question. For example, "60% of people living in Brazil are under the age of 50".
