Explain two main features of a biographic newspaper article.

A biographic newspaper article firstly has the feature of being positively biased. Normally, it is about a person who has done something notable or is well-known for a particular area. The author will use positive language and mainly mention the good things that the person is known for, or will mention their partner and children in the article.

Secondly, a biographic newspaper article is normally quite short and succint. This has the effect of only including the facts in the article, with little explanation. This means that normally, only the birth date, death date, and other notable dates in the person's life will be mentioned in the article.
