The Nucleus- It is in the middle of the atom It contains protons and electrons Protons are positively charged +1 Neutrons have no charge 0 Nucleus has a positive charge because of the protons The Electrons Move around the nucleus They are negatively charged -1 They occupy shells around the nucleus
