Explain some advantages and disadvantages of having your computer connected to a network

A network has multiple advantages and disadvantages - the main advantages are that it enables a team to work from multiple places, it means that you can share hardware which is both cheaper and easier, it means that your computer can communicate with multiple other computers, and that processing can be spread out over multiple computers. Some disadvantages are the security - a network may contain a virus, or make your computer more vulnerable to hacking - as well as the physical cost of buying the additional hardware for a network such as a router or main server. Another disadvantage is that some failure in the network (such as a router failure) can have an effect on your computer. Can you think of any more advantages or disadvantages? Any Questions?
