What is the effect of increasing the temperature on the rate of reaction?

As the temperature has increased the particles have more kinetic energy which causes them to move more quickly so there are more collisions per unit time. Also, due to their increased kinetic energy, more particles have an energy higher than the activation energy which means there are more successful collisions per unit time. This causes the rate of reaction to increase.
