Show that x^2 - x +2 is positive for all values of x

(x-1/2)= (x-1/2)(x-1/2)=x2-x+1/4, add 7/4 to get x2-x+2 therefore x2-x+2 = (x-1/2)2 + 7/4

squared numbers always positive so (x-1/2)2 >= 0 therefore (x-1/2)2 + 7/4 is always positive

How would I use implicit differentiation to differentiate functions such as: y=tan^-1(ax^2+b) in the form of dy/dx=.....?

y = x^2 − 2*x − 24*sqrt(x) - i) find dy/dx ii) find d^2y/dx^2

(FP3 question). Integrate 1/sqrt(3-4x-x^2).

What is the signed area between the curve y = x^2 - 4 and the x-axis?
