What is the best way to approach the UKCAT test?

The majority of the questions on this paper are not overly complicated or too difficult to answer; the main difficulty is the really strict time limit per question. For the verbal reasoning and quantitative analysis sections you on average have roughly 30 seconds per question to read and complete the question. In the abstract reasoning section, this drops to under 15 seconds per question. As such, the best approach to this paper is to aim to answer 80% of the questions correctly to start with. As your skills progress, you'll be quicker at spotting patterns of questions and learn tricks to help you answer questions faster and learnt to manage your time quicker and more ruthlessly - this is the key to success which we shall learn through our lessons.
