How do you prepare for high pressure tests or interviews?

I have always believed that true confidence comes from competence. Not just memorising facts or figures, but deeply understanding your subject, and what is required of you in the examination is the truest way to feel confident and prepared. This can sometimes mean spending extra time going through areas you haven't yet mastered, and that can be tricky as without effective support it's easy to feel lost. Success always requires work, however it is possible to streamline the process and make your study time as efficient as possible so you can truly understand your subject and even begin to enjoy it. This then changes how you feel about the upcoming exam, and instead of feeling that impending sense of doom, you feel a sense of excitement about showing what you can do!
