Participants must be reminded before throughout and after the study that they have the right to withdraw their data from the findings if they are showing signs of distress. (2)

When pubishing socially sensitive research such as depression, names of participants should be replaced with numbers to ensure anonymity and confidentiality so there are no implications later in life. (2)
