How did antigone use her acting skills to sustain intrest throughout the play?

Throughout the play, Antigones body language was used as key elements in sustaining interest throughout the play. This was predominantly done through her use of eye contact, as she stared out of the audience very often which made you as an audience member feel like you had to look back at her and really feel her emotions. Alongside her eyes, she also would change the tone and pitch of her voice which drew you in as it told a story through her words thus, her voice. These two elements together ensured that the story was clear throughout the play and made me as an audience member not only interested throughout the play but excited to see what was happening next.
