Balance the chemical equation: AgI + Na2S → Ag2S + NaI

2 AgI + 1 Na2S → 1 Ag2S + 2 NaI Both sides of the equation need to have the same number of each element. We need to make sure that the amount of one element we have on one side of the equation is the same on the other side.
