How many thirds are there in eight?

Whilst this question seems complicated because numbers have been thrown in with words it is infact a simple question. There are 3 thirds in one.

1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 = 1

Therefore there are 8 x 3 thirds in 8

8 x ( 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3) = 8

8 x 3 = 24

There are 24 thirds in 8.
