This is a common issue when learning a language, and a common mistake is to think that one should just keep training the way they pronounce French words, when in fact training the ear as well is key. If you want to learn how to pronounce French words correctly, you have to listen to a lot of people speaking fluent French, by listening to French radio programs, watching the French news or films in French. This method is interesting because it enables you to choose what you prefer to listen to, making learning much more enticing, and it can also help you extend your vocabulary. Then, after listening to a sentence in French, you can try and repeat it (even by recording yourself). If it sounds right to you, you can move on to a next sentence. If it doesn't, listen to it once again, and try to say it again. Repeat this process until you feel like you have made progress (it doesn't need to be perfect at the beginning). You can also match this technique by reading out loud. Again, you can read whatever you want as long as it is in French. The key is to read slowly and pronounce each word correctly – don't hesitate to go through a sentence several times if you feel like you need to. It can really make the difference!
