When I was young I used to spend the summer holidays with my family here in England. I didn't enjoy them. I got bored quickly and the weather was often cold. If we ́d been better off we could at least have gone to a country with a warmer climate. Since I got a job everything has changed. Three months ago I flew to Peru with some friends and we went up the mountains to Cuzco, the old Inca capital. What a wonderful experience! I intend to return whenever I can. Translation into Spanish: Cuando era joven, solía pasar las vacaciones de verano aquí en Inglaterra. No me lo pasaba bien. Me aburría con facilidad y muchas veces hacía frío. Si hubiéramos tenido mejores circunstancias por lo menos podríamos haber ido a un país con un clima más cálido. Desde que tengo trabajo todo ha cambiado. Hace tres meses volé a Perú con algunos amigos y subimos las montañas hasta Cuzco, la antigua capital Inca. ¡Qué experiencia tan maravillosa! Voy a intentar volver cuando pueda.
