Compare and contrast the way the theme X is presented in Text A and Text B

The key for me in answering this question can be found in the structural appraoch - Introduction/ Similarities/ Differences/ Conclusion on the overall defining effect of theme X.

Introduction: Breifly summarise the texts/ any know context and clearly lay out your arguement.

Main body of essay: Go through each text marking out all the ways in which theme X is presented - use as many literary devices as you are able, think about the context of when each piece was written, how is the language used? Most importantly think about the EFFECT of the way in which the writer has chosen to present theme X. Select your best points on the different and similar ways in which theme X is presented and lay them out in an orderly fashion: POINT | QUOTE| COMMENT.

Conclusion: Evaluate the overall effect of the the way theme X has been presented in each text.
