Explain the main features of the Weimar Constitution.

This document was created to fit the purest form of democracy, counterbalancing powers between executive and legislative, federal system and Proportional Representation. It was made in the view that it would go alongisde the traditional German rules. Regarding the features of this document, it was clear that presidential elections would occur every seven years, and not only would he be the President but also the Commander-in-Chief and the Head-of-State.  The Parliament was also affected, it was split into two sections, the Reichstag and the Reichsrat. The Reichstag was the lower and more important house, and the Reichsrat was the less important house.
