what is the total resistance of 2 resistors each with resistance 2 ohms in parallel?

1/Rt= 1/R1 + 1/R2 The equation for resistors in parrallel. If R1 and R2 are both 2 ohms then 1/Rt = 1/2 +1/2 = 1 so Rt = 1 ohm. Note: Don't forget the units at the end.
