A cone has a radius of 2 units and a height of 3 units. Devise a simplified equation to find the volume of the cone.

Vol = 1/3 pi r^2 h

r = 2n

h = 3n

Therefore

Vol = 1/3.pi.(2n)^2.3n

Vol = 1/3.pi.12n^3

Vol = 4.pi.n^3

Solve: 3x+5y=19 4x-2y=-18

Make x the subject of the equation y=(2(1+x))/(3x-1)

If x^2 + 2y = -14 and y = 4x + 1 , by using the quadratic formula, find the possible values for x.

The point P has coordinates (3,4). The Point Q has the coordinates (a,b). A line perpendicular to PQ is given by the equation 3x+2y=7. Find an expression for b in terms of a.
