What checks and balances are in place to limit the power of the US President?

Congress limits the power of the president by the ratification of international treaties, judicial and executive appointments in the senate, and the House of Representatives has the 'Power of the Purse' approving government budgets. The Supreme Court Limits the power of the President by protecting the Constitution of the United States. The President cannot remove Supreme court judges as they are appointed for life. Congress can impeach the president if he acts beyond his powers. The President cannot make an amendment to the US constitution. Congress can override the Presidential veto. Congress has the power to declare war, not the President meaning that the President must seek Congressional approval for their foreign policy.
