What was the question? 'J'ai dix ans'

To answer this question, and find the question, it is essential that the student understand the words in front of them. Depending on the level of french the student has, we might go over numbers (to know the age), conjugation (to know the person)or vocabulary (to know 'ans'). If it is the numbers which preoccupies the student we can go over them, first by writing them down and repeating the words together, then memorizing their spelling and pronunciation. If it is the conjugation of etre we can go through this as well. Once they understand the 'prose' they will be able to understand the question, probably in English, and then translating this into French will be the last step. The answer being ' Quel age a tu?'
