Solve the equation: x^2 - 9x + 20 = 0

This is a quadratic equation, and is likely that x can satisfy either of two values. We know these must multiply to form 20 and summate to -9, and thus they are (x-4) and (x-5). Hence, x is either 4 or 5.

Solve the simultaneous equations: 2x-y=x+4; x^2+4y^2=37

y=mx+c. If m=5, x= -3 and c=1, find y

6x-2y=33 4x+3y=9
