Can you explain to me what the Golgi apparatus does?

Golgi ApparatusInvolved in protein and lipid modification by addition of sugar groups Involved in sorting and packaging of proteins and lipidsInvolved in vesicular transport, which is moving substances which are packaged into small structures known as vesicles.
