Die Folgen der Automatisierung

This could be a speaking question, where the student is asked to discuss the positives and negatives of automation, and to take one of these sides during a debate. I would go through generally useful speaking terms that the student could use, such as 'Kannst du die Frage wiederholen bitte?' and 'Da gibt es ja/doch keine einfache Lösung / Antwort'. I would then discuss key words that could be used, and key arguments. For example, 'Mit jeder Welle der Automatisierung, gibt es Personengruppen deren Arbeitskraft und deren Arbeitstätigkeit ersetzt werden könnte durch neue Maschinen'. For a speaking exam, it is vital that a student can carry on talking, so I would plan a discussion that I could have with the student, where I would ask questions about automation and technology, and they would be required to give me answers on the spot. This would help to improve their confidence, which is essential for A level German.
