How to find the equation of a line connecting two given coordinate points.

The equation of the line will be in the set form for a straight line, this being y = mx + cHence substitute the x and y values of one of the points into this equation.Repeat for the other coordinate.Hence solve the resulting simultaneous equations for m (the gradient) and c (the y-intercept).Finally, substitute your values for m and c into y = mx + c.
