How do you structure an essay in French?

Writing an essay in French can be a daunting task but it can be treated in the same way as writing an essay in English or any language. You must have an introduction, main body through which you explore and argue different points and a conclusion. You can make a plan through which you clearly separate these important parts. The difference between writing an essay in for a MFL course and not English Literature is that you must demonstrate your capabilities in the language. You can do that by using paragraph markers (eg. To begin with, firstly, secondly, all considered) to make your writing clear. You can also use a variety of tenses including the subjunctive. Also make sure you have a variety of subject-specific vocabulary.it is highly important to write clearly and have an argument but perhaps you can shape your argument in order to use the greatest variety of vocabulary and structures.
