How many solutions does a quadratic equation have?

A quadratic equation "ax2+bx+c=0" can have 0, 1 or 2 solution.

This depends on the discriminant which is (b2 - 4ac)

If the discriminant is positive, then there are 2 solutions

If it equals 0, there is one solution.

If it is negative, there is no solution.
