How would you prepare for an Oxford interview?

Difficult to ask a specific question in this sphere, but having gone through the tutorial system, I am aware of the format they take and having prepared successfully for Oxford interviews, I know the sort of things that tend to come up. I would provide a text of the right sort of level that the student is unlikely to have seen previously and ask various questions about the passage.
For example, I would perhaps give the first page of Kafka's Amerika/ Der Verlorene and ask questions including:-what are initial impressions/ what is going on in the passage-what is the relevance of the symbolism with the statue of liberty holding the sword-what do you make of the main character-what if I told you that this text was about X, how does that change your view of this passage
The questions would provide a starting point to further discussion about the text and the passage and hopefully provide a spring board to discussion on further texts, which is exactly how an oxford tutorial would tend to be.
