Outline the process of neuronal communication between two neurones

Ensure that your answer is precise, without too much waffle - this can confuse examiners and you'll lose easy marks! Take it step by step:
First, the neurotransmitter, acetylcholine, is released from the presynaptic membrane. Then, it diffuses across the synaptic cleft. It attaches to receptors on the post-synaptic membrane, and the neurotransmitter is then broken down.
Remember key words - this is where a lot of the marks come from.
