Has the US bill of rights been protected

Gun ControlIt is protected in the 2nd amendment, but cases such as DC vs Heller have tried to break it. This has also included acts by the president, such as Obama’s attempted executive order to enforce background checks. Liberals would say it has been manipulated and never meant to own individual guns, whereas conservatives say it has been corrupted and put under threat, but currently it is protected, but will change if court changes, and a lberal is appointed after Justice Scalia's death. NSA and PrismIt breaks the 4th amendment as it allows for the US government and NSA to search and store information on individuals, this is done through the patriot act, which has meant that they haven't had to receive a warrant before they search, which infringes on the 4th amendment. Liberals say that it should stop, as it also breaks the 1st amendment, and conservatives think that it is the government being too big, but like how it protects against terrorism. Drone StrikesIt is against the 6th and 7th amendment as it involves punishment without a trial and in front of a jury. However, it is not always against the constitution, as it is only designed to protect US citizens. But it was once used against Al-waki. Liberals have said that it allows Obama to act as judge, jury and executioner. Conservatives see it more that if they deserve it then do it, as well that they are not members of the US so they shouldn’t be protected under the US constitution. Guantanamo BayIt is against the 7th and 8th, as usually they are held without trial, as the evidence they have won’t stand in court, due to how they have obtained it, such as torture, which is also against the 8th amendment. Which says that an individual should not be subject to cruel punishment or torture. However, again this doesn’t apply to non citizens, as the conservatives would say. However, liberals would say that actually it was put on Yasser Hamid, an American citizen, who when was realised was stripped of nationality.
