What does a University want to hear in a personal statement?

In short, a university will want to hear about you and your achievements in your personal statement. Keep in mind a balance of 80% education and qualifications to 20% extracurricular and don’t just write what a university wants to hear, inject some of your personal zest into it and sell yourself. The university wants to hear about the experiences that have shaped you as well as your fantastic academics.
