Is the function f(x)=x^3+24x+3 an increasing or decreasing function?

f(x)=x^3 +24x+3 f'(x)=3x2+24 Since x^2>0 for all real x 3x^2+24>0 So f(x) is an increasing function

A curve is defined by the parametric equations x=t^2/2 +1, y=4/t -1. Find the gradient of the curve when t =2.

I don't understand why the function "f(x)=x^2 for all real values of x" has no inverse. Isn't sqrt(x) the inverse?

Differentiate x^x

Find the area between the positive x axis and the line given by y=-(x^2)+2x
