Given that y= 5x^2 + 2x , find dy/dx

5x^2 becomes 25x as the 2 comes down and 2x becomes 2 as x becomes 1.dy/dx = 25x + 2=10x+2

The polynomial f(x) is define by f(x) = 3x^3 + 2x^2 - 8x + 4. Evaluate f(2).

What is the turning point on the curve f(x) = 2x^2 - 2x + 4

Solve the equation 3sin^2(x) + sin(x) + 8 = 9cos^2(x), -180<X<180. Then find smallest positive solution of 3sin^2(2O-30) + sin(2O-30) + 8 = 9cos^2(2O-30).

How do I identify that the coordinate (2,3) is the maximum point of the curve f(x)?
