How do you deal with remembering all the knowledge required for organic chemistry questions?

You should organise your knowledge by separating synthetic routes into categories, for example: drawing the synthetic pathways of benzenes separately to those of phenols. You should then make posters or flashcards of these, including all reagents and conditions. It is very helpful to buy a small whiteboard to practice writing these out.
