Read brief descriptions of all of the characters and use the table to align the description paragraph letter to the correct name.

A typical Spanish GCSE question asks the student to read a series of small paragraphs, that are character descriptions. Each description has the same sort of information, but of course varying according to the different people. Each small paragraph provides a name, an activity they like or a food or a profession or a pet they own etc. There is also a chart, with the names of the individuals going down and the different activities (for example) going across. The chart also has available boxes for ticking. It is up to the student to fill out a chart by ticking boxes to match the correct information with the correct person description. This exercise shows reading comprehension, accurately separating information in Spanish as well as handling more than one situation in Spanish at one time.
