How should I structure my personal statement?

Introduce your statement with a good opening line which concisely shows why you want to study the subject you are applying for. Then, go into personal details and where your love for the subject first started. Follow this with examples that indicate your passion to study the subject and also future aspirations if you were fortunate enough to get your desired subject. Finish with extra curricular activities and why you enjoy taking part in these kind of activities as well as how they would help you in the future.
