For your application, the score you obtain in the UKCAT will be a contributing factor as to whether you get in, however, it is not the sole reason you will get into university. You must also focus on the interview, your personal statement and work experience as other factors that will help you to get into university. Once you are at university your UKCAT score will not be important. However, the skills you learn in the UKCAT can be transferred to the Situational judgement test (SJT) you do in Year 5 which makes up a large proportion of your final year mark (60%).
