Describe how Hitler reduced unemployment in Germany.

The best way to answer a 'describe' question is to give three factors and explain them briefly. These questions are worth 5 marks each. So, three factors you could describe are:Use of the National Labour Service (RAD) which all unemployed men were made to join. This gave people a form of work even if it was frequently doing quite a useless job.He increased the size of the military, meaning that more people were required to manufacture weapons, tanks, uniforms and serve in the army. Thirdly, women and Jews were no longer counted in the unemployment numbers - this meant that a lot of people thought his apparent decrease in unemployment was actually 'smoke and mirrors'. Remember to keep an exam answer like this brief so you can move on to the big markers!
