How do I properly prepare for my Oxbridge interview?

The truth is, you can never be fully prepared for an Oxbridge interview because you just never know what they are going to ask! However, you can feel like you've done everything that you can do, and having this mindset before your interview is the best way to go in and help yourself feel relaxed. Start by reading relevant books, online journals or articles about your subject that you are genuinely interested in! It's important to be interested, because you may be asked to discuss the things you've read at interview. Other than that, make sure you know your personal statement inside out, and if it helps you personally, get someone else to ask you questions relating to it and practise answering them. As long as you are up to date with your studies and have read around your subject, there isn't much else you can do to prepare. Everyone prepares in their own way, so do whatever feels right for you! You will probably come out of the interview thinking it went horrendously anyway, I know I did, but as long as you can go in, relax, and talk about the subject that you love so much with like-minded people, then you're sure to do just fine.
