Solve for x: x^2 + 6x + 8 = 0

First of all we must factorise this:x2 + 6x + 8 = 0(x+4)(x+2) = 0Now we make each bracket = 0 and solve for x.x+4 = 0 x+2 = 0x = -4 x = -2
