Using answer to previous question state the coordinates of the minimum

From previous question y=2(x+2)2-1Minimum would be when (x+2)2 is at it's smallest value, in this case when (x+2)=0 since any other value squared would be greater than 0. This occurs when x=-2, and y at this point would be y=-1 when put into the equation (2(0)-1=-1)Coordinates are (-2,-1)

A curve is defined by the parametric equations: X = 3 – 4t , y = 1 + (2/t) Find (dy/dx) in terms of t.

Consider the closed curve between 0 <= theta < 2pi given by r(theta) = 6 + alpha sin theta, where alpha is some real constant strictly between 0 and 6. The area in this closed curve is 97pi/2. Calculate the value of alpha.
