To differentiate x^2

Step 1) whatever the number on the power, put that in front of x. 

Step 2) Then minus one (-1)  from the power

Therefore, by putting the number on the power in front (which is 2) and deducting -1 to the power (which is 2-1)

We get our over all answer:

2x;

I believe A-Level mathematics is taught better when written down then typing, as writing and showing the method will make it easeir for the student to undetstand rather than typing it.
